Safety

Auramative sends you into the real world to practice social confidence. That's the point — and it means a few common-sense ground rules.

Challenges are invitations, not instructions

Every challenge is a suggestion you choose to do. If one doesn't feel right for you, your situation, or your culture, skip it or swap it — skipping is data, not failure. You always decide what you're comfortable with.

Your ground rules

  • Stay lawful and safe. Never do anything illegal, or anything that puts you or anyone else at risk.
  • Respect other people. Read the room. If someone seems uncomfortable or says no, stop — that is a successful rep, not a failed one.
  • No harassment. Approaching people is about warmth and courage, never pressure, following, or making anyone feel unsafe.
  • Use your own judgment about places, people, and timing. You know your context better than an app does.

Training, not therapy

Auramative builds everyday social confidence through practice. It is not therapy or medical care and is not a substitute for professional help. If you're dealing with severe anxiety, distress, or a mental-health crisis, please reach out to a qualified professional or your local emergency services — that's a strong move, not a weak one.
In crisis, or thinking about harming yourself? Contact your local emergency number, go to the nearest emergency room, or — in the US — call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline). You matter, and help is there.

Tell us if a challenge is off

If a challenge feels unsafe, unclear, or inappropriate, use the “something's off” report on the challenge (or email hello@auramative.com). It helps us keep the library sharp and safe for everyone.
